Hello--
Hope you've had a great week--here's a quick note to let you know about
all the fun events coming up at the Stitchin' Post.
Don't forget QUILT PINK! Tomorrow: September 22nd from 9am to 5pm.
Come in and join us upstairs to sew a block. We'll combine the blocks
into quilts to be donated and auctioned off to benefit the Susan G.
Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
And, for our knitting friends, come join us for KNIT PINK, and help us
make caps for chemo patients on the same day from 1-4.
Our knitters will also not want to miss our first ever YARN TASTING,
next Friday, September 28, from 5 - 8 pm. No need to pre register for
this free event, just show up with a variety of straight needles to try
out our fun new yarns. There will also be yummy snacks and a 10%
discount on all yarn you purchase during the event.
We still have openings in our upcoming workshops with Lorraine Torrance.
Lorraine is an award winning quilter, has been a quilt teacher for many
years and is the author of the book "Shifting Perspectives," as well as
owner of two pattern companies; Grainline Gear and Lorraine Torrance
Designs.
She will be teaching two workshops this October: SHIFTING PERSPECTIVES
on Oct. 10 - 11,
and DESIGN ESSENTIALS on Oct. 12 - 13. Cost is $100 per workshop.
You may call us for more information, or sign up on this page of our
website:
http://stitchinpost.com/retreats.html
Remember, anytime you sign up for a regular Stitchin' Post class online
(excluding retreats and special workshops, like the one mentioned above)
you will receive a 10% discount on your class sign-up fees.
Have a great week, and happy stitching!
Jean, Val, Lawry, & the rest of the Stitchin' Post Staff.
