Happy Friday!
We've a few announcements for you this week:
Join us for the Sunday Sewing Circle, every Sunday afternoon from 2:30
to 4:30 pm.
This week's session will be hosted by Jean-she will be there to provide
guidance on those sewing projects for which you need a bit of help. So
bring your latest project (or start a new one), and enjoy a pleasant
afternoon of sewing each week, with Jean, Cindy, or Dawn. There is no
fee, and pre-registration is not required. (If you need to rent a sewing
machine, do please call ahead to register for them.)
Another great event coming up is QUILT PINK! On Saturday, September 22nd
from 9am to 5pm. Come in and join us upstairs to sew a block to be
donated and auctioned off to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer
Foundation. Bring your friends along-even if you've never sewn a stitch
in your life!
Have you seen the ads for the new fabric line out from Robert Kaufman
Fabrics, designed by Sandra Banava? "Potpourri" is a collection of fun
designs offered in 3 colorways reflecting the most popular trends in
fashion and home dec today. Florals and geometrics combine for a fresh
group perfect for quilting, home dec, fashion and more! We have them in
the store now, and we will be posting them on the web soon.
Have a great week, and happy stitching!
Jean, Val, Lawry, & the rest of the Stitchin' Post Staff.
