Kick off the holiday season with an evening out at Twigs Home & Garden.
Enjoy the sights of the holidays, while sipping wine and munching on 
light hors d'oeuvres.
Gather ideas, meet friends, and start checking off that holiday shopping 
list with an evening dedicated just to you.

We have just received a shipment of beautiful Angle Vine star topiaries,
and the new "Sweet Life" bags from Amy Butler and Rowan have arrived, 
and they are FABULOUS!

For those of you who were interested in Jean's Brownie recipe from our 
last emailing,
we neglected to give you the amount of time to bake the brownies!
They should bake for 25 - 30 minutes. We have included a revised version 
of the recipe below.

Jean's Chocolate Crunch Brownies

1 c. butter or margarine, softened
2c. sugar
4 eggs
6T. baking cocoa
1c. all-purpose flour
2 t. vanilla extract
½ t. salt
1 (7oz.) jar of marshmallow creme
1 c. creamy peanut butter
2 c. (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
3 c. rice krispies

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Stir in cocoa, 
flour, vanilla, and salt. Spread into a greased 13"x 9" pan. Bake at 350 
degrees for 25 TO 30 MINUTES. Cool. Spread marshmallow crème over the 
cooled brownies. In a small saucepan, melt the peanut butter and 
chocolate chips over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and 
stir in cereal. Spread over marshmallow layer. Chill before cutting. 
Store in the refrigerator.
