Happy Friday from the Stitchin¹ Post and the Wild Hare!
 
Hello!!!
Well we have survived another fire close to home. Although this one was a
bit too close for comfort. We came in on Saturday the 29th and had a quilt
take down party! 
The quilts were just too important not to keep them out of harm¹s way.
Luckily they had a short stay in my garage and were put back up on the
following Tuesday.
The shop sure did look bare without the quilts covering the walls. (We¹ve
attached a photo of one of the very bare walls‹they just don¹t look right!)
We can't thank the firefighters
enough for taking care of our community.
 
News from the shop.......August is here, and that means the fall class flyer
is in the works and going to be sent out middle of the month for your
viewing pleasure. Official mailing date is August 18th. We have some awesome
quilting classes for you, and don't forget to check out the knitting and
sewing classes.
 
As a reminder we are having Kaffe Fasset and Brandon Mabley here in October.
The lecture still has openings and so does Brandon's ³Persian Poppy²
knitting class. 
They both should be great. (I even get to take the knitting class, I am so
excited.)
Kaffe¹s ³Potpourri² patchwork class was full, but we expect a few spots to
open when this next bit of news gets around: We¹ve managed to arrange for
Kaffe and Brandon to teach TWO MORE patchwork workshops! They will take
place on October 25th and 26th.
One is called ³Snowball² and one is called ³Bowtie.²

If you can't make it to the shop don't forget our web site for your
Stitchin' Post ³fix,² Paige and Annette are continuing to put new fabric on
the web site as it arrives in the shop. We¹ve added several new fabric lines
just this week!
 
If you haven't been to the site in a while check it out we have a new look!
We will have photos of the classes for Fall and all of our great retreats
online soon.
