[COHO] COHO group brew - this Sunday!

Greetings fellow fish,

We'll be having our monthly group brew this Sunday at Jerry O's beautiful residence on the south side of town.  The brew will begin at 10:30AM.  His address is 60301 Woodside Loop, 97702.  Here's a link to a map - http://www.mapquest.com/maps/60301+woodside+loop+bend+or+97702/

We've dug a recipe out of the COHO archives, dating back to the first group brew we had at Jerry's house.  We'll be seeing a return of the Big Beaver Pale Ale.  Big Beaver is a refreshing American style pale, here's the specifics -

20 lbs American 2 row
2.5 lbs Crystal 60
1 lb Carapils
1oz Magnum @ 60
2oz Columbus @ 10
2oz Simcoe @ 0
American ale yeast

OG should be around 1.050, with about 40 IBUs.  This should be a great, easy drinking summer beer.   Jerry says he might have a keg of IPA on tap by the time Sunday rolls around, but I encourage all of you to bring a couple of homebrews with you for sampling. I'd also encourage everyone to bring some chairs if they plan on sitting, as this seems to be a recurring problem at our brews.  Jerry says he'll work on some chili, and I'll be bringing some queso dip.  We hope to see everyone on Sunday - come on out, the weather should be great!
