If you have band aid aromas, chaces are that they aren't going anywhere, at
least from what I have read. It won't hurt a thing unless you live in the
artic cicrcle or something. Are you trying to get the yeast settled to the
bottom of the keg?
Give me a run down if you will of what you are doing as far as the keg is
concerned. I think you are using it as a secondary. If so you should be
fine. I have done this many times. Primaried and racked into a keg. I
usually seal it with some CO2 to seat the lid. After that the beer will
abosrb it and you can worry about it or not worry about it. I tend not to
worry because the beer even though has been racked and off most of the
yeast, tere is still yeast in the beer working so it is creating CO2 and the
lid should stay tight.
When I have used a keg as secondary I usually let it bulk age and settle out
for a week or 3 like you would in glass and then it goes right into the
fridge under presssure. I have also left the beer in primary for a month and
then went to the keg and hooked up the co2 right away. both were fine, as a
matter of fact, if you were at hop madness last year you probably drank it!
