[COHO] Big brew update # 2

All containers are bubbling away happily except for Jerry's as of 9:30pm
this evening Tuesday Jan. 29. No signs of even one bubble.
Cellar temp is at 65F. All containers with fermometers indicate
64-66F....except the one which blew its top and has so much crud on the
outside that I can't read the numbers. For the sake of argument, I will
assume that it says 64-66F also.
Jerry,
There is, and has been plenty of fluid in the air lock since you placed it
in the cellar...and the seal seems to be fine. I removed the air lock and
replaced it quickly just to make sure. It doesn't appear to me that the
bubbler seal or lack of liquid in the bubbler is the problem. Also, the lid
is tightly secured.
Brett,
I'm thinking that this seems to point to your message below. I can drop by
your house tomorrow or meet you somewhere with more yeast? Or alternately I
can run to the Brew Shop and pick up a smack pak. Didn't you say it was
Wyeast 2112?
Gary

As I was cleaning up the growlers that had yeast in them, I came across one
that had almost an inch of yeast at the bottom. I would guess that's our
culprit. Apparently whoever pitched that one didn't swirl vigorously to mix
everything up. Gary do you have any yeast that you can add to that
fermenter? I could probably get something over to you tomorrow...
