..and a who brings the mule?

Just kidding...We're heading to Gary Wirt's beautiful home on Sunday AM, I'd so no later than 10:30 or 11:00, if that works OK for Gary and the rest of the brewers. Bring your gear with! I'm sure we'll be missing this or that, so bring it with you - propane tanks, burners, mashtuns, kettles, tubing, carboys. Figure on doing a five gallon batch unless you really have a big capacity mashtun and boil kettle. Also plan on having to boil at least seven gallons to end up with 5.5.

I have the first round of yeast starters bubbling away. I managed to split six starters from the Scotch ale slurry. I'll prep a couple of California ale and NW ale starters sometime on Thursday. We should have enough yeast for the project. I'll pick up the grains later in the week as well, and take care of the milling. I'll have recipes on hand for everyone to work with.

And just to make all of you brewers feel better I might just bring a keg of my Final Coutdown IPA along with me. See everyone on Sunday.

Cheers!

BT

OK, I wasn't sure if a hard decision had been made... Maybe also get your address out there.

I have one, I'll bring it.
