Planning to Represent Your Club at the 30th Annual AHA National Homebrewers Conference?June 19-21, 2008 homebrewers from across the states, and a few from abroad, will share their wonderous creations of suds at the 30th Annual AHA National Homebrewers Conference in Cincinnati, OH. There are two different ways your club can show its pride, Club Night and the Hospitality Suite.
Club Night is the event that all participating clubs make a “STATEMENT” by showing off their beer and food talents. In the past, clubs have become very original and creative with their beer delivery systems and their themes - from Rastafarians and flamingos to Armour-clad knights. Who knows what we'll see this year? To reserve a table for your club at Club Night 2008, please contact: Jennifer Herrman, bathingotis at yahoo.com .
At the Hospitality Suite, conference attendees have the opportunity to sample homebrews from local and out-of-state homebrewing clubs as well as meet fellow homebrewers from across the country. Homebrew clubs take turns hosting the suite and serving club beers. A small trade show is also set up inside the suite for conference attendees to interact with business vendors. Conference participants are invited to visit the Hospitality Suite during session breaks as well as before and after conference events. Visiting the suite provides a great opportunity to socialize with other brewers, clubs, and beer enthusiasts from all over the country. To schedule a time for your club to participate in this opportunity, please contact Hospitality Coordinator Frank Barickmann, fbarickm at columbus.rr.com .AHA MembershipAs a grassroots organization, the American Homebrewers Association supports over 600 homebrew clubs around the world. Your involvement is essential for the AHA to continue such programs as: Club-Only Competitions, National Homebrew Competition, National Homebrewers Conference, AHA Rallies, Pub Discount Program, Big Brew, Mead Day, Teach a Friend to Homebrew Day, and more!
