Mike offers up a good point. It is probably not a good idea to have your
prize wining beer sloshing around in the keg as you drive around town. And
it sounds like a good way to eliminate some of the competition. :-)
So I'm tying to think of some options:
1. Perhaps we could have a training session at this Sunday's club brew
and then rotate loan of the equipment over the next couple of weeks.
2. Brett, Evan, Brian and/or other beer gun experts could take charge
of the equipment and make bottling "house calls" over the next couple of
weeks.
3. COHO purchases Blichman beer guns for all club members. :-)
I'm getting really concerned now, because yesterday I opened a bottle of one
of my Spring Fling candidate beers which I had bottled on March 8 using a
Coopers carbonation drop. The beer was totally flat. A real bummer. So I'm
thinking that I want to use CO2 force carbonated bottles for all of my
entrees.
I am teetering on the fence in trying to decide whether to order my own beer
gun..problem is we're getting pretty close to the deadline for Spring Fling
entries.
