[COHO] Beer Awards

Yes, they must have really liked your beer.  It took second place in category 3 European Amber Lager.  I also took home a second place ribbon in category 22 Smoked and Barrel Aged Beers with my Rasputin's Revenge bourbon oak aged Russian imperial stout.  Matt and Kristen also scored very well within their categories, but failed to make the top three.  Mike's ESB, as well as my ESB and pilsner didn't fair as well.  Mike and I judged on Friday night, while Michelle served with the stewards.  Dylan and Geoff Marlowe joined us later that evening.  We had a great time at the competition, and at the festival.  So far Corvallis has been very good to COHO.  We'll give a detailed run down of the entire weekend at the next meeting.  Congratulations to all that entered and participated.

    Wow!  Great surprise.  That was a Mex Amber.  Guess I'll have to celebrate by opening another bottle!
