Just a reminder about the moonlight cross country ski outing tomorrow,2/1
heres the info Evan sent out, hope to see you there and dress warm!! I saw 8
degrees tomorrow night

Here's the general plan:

6:30 - Meet at the Mt Bachelor Park and Ride
carpool as needed up to Virginia Meissner Sno Park
(about 15 miles up Century Drive)

7:00 - Head out on the trails

8:30 - Arrive at Meissner shelter (this is just a guess on time
and could vary with route people take and the snow
conditions)

9:00 - Head back to the parking lot (a quick 1.5 miles mostly
down hill)

9:30 - Load up and drive back home.

This basically what I'm planning on doing, but times could
easily change when we're out there. If you want to alter the plan to
suite your own needs feel free, but I take no responsibility for any
random Yeti attacks that you may experience.

Most trails at this snow park are groomed and pretty easy to ski
but it all depends on the conditions. It could be ungroomed and slow if
we get fresh snow or it could be icy if it melts and freezes. It's up
to you to decided if feel comfortable skiing that night. It will be a
mellow route some up, some flat, some down. Probably 3-5 miles, and
there will be opportunities to take different trails to alter the route.
Just a good time in the moon light, definitely not a race or epic
expedition.

There is a snowshoe trail to the shelter as well if people would
rather do that. Looking at the map its maybe a three mile loop
