Assuming I am able to get my work to let me off a lil early, I'll be pouring beer at the fest as a volunteer Friday until 8:30. Then I'll be drinking! If any of you are going to be there friday night and wanna say hi give me a yell. No idea yet which beer I'll be pouring.

  Greetings all,

Tomorrow is the deadline for us to collect entries for the KLCC Homebrew Competition. Mike and I will probably be out and about tomorrow night collecting from those who have shown interest, so give me a call if you're interested in sending an entry. I will be shipping the entries out on Thursday AM. For more information check out KLCC's website - http://www.klcc.org/

Tomorrow is also the deadline for placing our bulk grain order from the Valley Vinter & Brew in Eugene. Please contact me if you wish to add to this order. We're currently looking at 15-30 bags of grain at a pretty good price (which is still in flux as we settle on the final amount of the sale). The grain will be hauled back from Eugene on Sunday, February 11.

Our monthly club brew is also this weekend, on Saturday morning. Jerry is gracious enough to invite us back to his home for another brew. We'll get started around 10:30AM and will have three separate batches of beer going - an Irish Red Ale, a Dry Irish Stout, and whatever brew Tom is working on. I'm sure we can use some extra hands so please come on out for this one. Our group brew should be ready in time for our March meeting / post St. Patrick's day party. Here's a map to Jerry's place - http://maps.yahoo.com/#mvt=m&q1=60301%20WOODSIDE%20LOOP%2C%20Bend%2C%20OR%2C%2097702&trf=0&lon=-121.300993&lat=43.990314&mag=4 .

COHO will also be accepting nominations for club's executive positions this weekend. If you're interested in running for anything please contact one of us, or just throw your name out there at the brew session, meeting, website, or wherever. Hope to see everyone this weekend.

  Cheers!
