>Greetings all! COHO is planning a road trip to the other side of the hills
>in the near future. A few of us are planning a trip to Eugene in an effort
>to attend, and participate in, the KLCC Brewfest and Homebrew Competition.
>The event takes place on February 9th and 10th and the Lane event Center.
>Here's the site with all the details -
>http://www.klcc.org/<http://www.klcc.org/> . There's plenty of inexpensive
>lodging that's really close to the festival, and close to lots of other
>great beer related places like Rogue, the Bier Stein, and Steelhead. You
>can pay $10 to enter a beer in the competition and receive free admission
>to the beerfest. All other entries are $5 each. COHO will be shipping
>over a group of entries, but need to have them in our possession no later
>than January 31st. If anyone's interested give me a shout, and I'll go
>into explicit detail.

>COHO also plans on doing a bulk grain purchase from Valley Vinter & Brew,
>the homebrew shop that is sponsoring the homebrew competition. I spoke
>with them today, and covered prices and availability. Here's what we have
>so far -
>
>American 2 row @ $35 for 50#
>Dingmann's Belgian pale @ $38 for 50#
>British Hugh Baird 2 row @ $49 for 55#
>British Crisp 2 row @ $55 for 55#
>
>These are their base prices, and any purchase of more than a couple bags
>will drop the price significantly according to the shop. We just need to
>give them some advanced notice so that they have ample stock to fill our
>order. I'm down for three bags of American and a bag of Baird myself,
>everyone else just needs to let me know as soon as possible please.
>
>Cheers!
