[COHO] grain purchase

We purchased 29 bags of grain total, and took possession of all but six (2 bags of Belgian pale, 2 bags of Carapils, and a bag each of Vienna and Victory). The bulk of our order came in from Great Western, but the others were From Briess, and didn't show up when they were supposed to. Slackers. Those bags will arrive in Central Oregon in a week or two, at no expense. Prices are as follows -

American $32
British $44.35

Those prices included a $1 per bag freight / handling charge from the guys at the brew shop. It seemed reasonable enough to the three executive members, and other six club members that were standing there. There's a bunch of specialty grains as well, but I still need to average out a per pound price, as several people had asked for 10 pounds of each. Without the calculator it looks $.80 a pound average, with the Carapils being closer to $1. Kris, Mike, and Ryan have most their product already. I think Paul (Stache) and Paul & Sandi Carrington are waiting for some materials. I'm available as needed, just give me a call or shoot me an email. Also as far as I can tell, the next meeting will be at my house a week from Wednesday. We should have our American Ice Hawg beers ready to go. Details to follow, and check out the website as it will be the first thing that's updated.

And thanks to all the COHO crew that made the trip over to Eugene, it was freakin' awesome! Thanks for all the support from everyone. It was great having kegs in two motel rooms, and taking up the entire top floor of the Econolodge was pretty sweet too. We'll give a full report on the event at the next meeting. See everyone next week.

Cheers!

Brett
