[COHO] Bend Brew Fest : In Summary

I just wanted to throw out a huge thanks for all the good folks who participated, and attended, the brew fest this last weekend.  A special thanks goes out to Mr. VP Evan, who managed to efficiently organize our role in this event.  Another special thanks goes out to Kris and Matt for dragging out the Wort Hawg for this festival.  As always, it was the centerpiece of our set up.  It was a huge undertaking, and quite successful, due in no small part to a couple of dozen highly motivated individuals.  I'd say that at least 85% of our club turned out, and participated, in some form.  It was great to see everyone throw their talents into the brews.  It was equally impressive to watch everyone take turns with the public, putting their best COHO face forward.

We brewed a total of 30 gallons of beer, with the following brews :

5 gallons Imperial IPA
5 gallons of IPA
10 gallons of Brown Ale
10 gallons of Amber Lager

We even sold a few tee shirts from what I'm told.  This was all great stuff, not to mention the tasty beers that were available.  I'm still longing for another cup of Sierra Nevada Anniversary Ale, or perhaps some Ninkasi Total Domination IPA.  See everyone at Hop Madness.
