[COHO] Question about Kegs and regulators 4-U

I'd say no way. That type of setup mixes the CO2, and water, in with the
soda syrup at the tap. So, it wouldn't keep the beer carbed. You might be
able to rig it to work, but it doesn't seem worth it. You will want some
type of refrigerator to keep the kegs cold. I don't know if the faucets on
the thing will work with beer, but that doesn't seem likely. The only thing
you would be getting that would work with a beer kegging setup is the CO2
tank and regulator, which aren't worth $200 new. If it comes with the kegs
too, figure $15 each if they can hold a seal. It could be fun to use the
cold plate for a fermentation chamber or something, but again, not worth it.
See if you can get a tank and regulator, new or used, and then get the new
perlick faucets from the brewshop. Then a new or used refrigerator or chest
freezer to keep the kegs in. Just my opinion. Good luck! Let us know when
you have everything setup so we can come over and drink your beer!
