[COHO] Suggestions for a summer (warm weather) fermenting brew?

I don't have any warm weather recipes but I have been successful in controlling temperatures during the summer. I've got two batches fermenting now, I've been able to keep them between 65 and 70 by freezing water in plastic soda bottles and placing them next to the carboys, them wrapping them all with insulating materials like heavy blankets. The temperature in the house easily gets above 80 to 85 each day but the beer stays cold.
Two summers ago I made a cold box from two cardboard apple boxes from the grocery store. On end they were just tall enough to fit a carboy with a slit cut out of the top to accommodate the fermentation lock. The fruit boxes came with a great insulating pad that was used to keep the apples from bruising. I lined the box with these pads. In the mornings I would put a freezer block used for coolers on the shoulders of the carboy, night time was usually cool enough so I would refreeze the cooler block then. Home Depot should have sheets of insulating material made from styrofoam in different thicknesses, this would also work well to line the box.
Good luck and keep on brewing!
Evan

Subject: [COHO] Suggestions for a summer (warm weather) fermenting brew?
Hello group,
I haven't got anything fermenting in my primary. I hate that. Any suggestions for a beer to brew that will do OK with 75-85 temperatures? I don't have room for another fridge and the coolest spot I can find is still pretty warm. I doubt that it will get any cooler through August so I might as well brew away. I'm looking at putting it under the house but access is a pain. I'm thinking that whatever I start will be ready to sip while it is still warm so something like an IPA or pale ale would be fine.
Suggestions? Recipes?
Thanks!
Bill
