Well....I hunt mostly with pistols.  That cost me a pig on Wednesday  when 
the shot was quick and close in heavy brush.   An offhand  shot with a 14" T/C 
was just a Hail Mary toss of the projectile.  Anyway, I  blew the 
shot...bummer.  My son on the other hand connected with a nice  meat boar about 175 pounds 
yesterday AM.  He used his 30-06 rifle, easy 40  yard shot in the open as it 
wallowed in the mud at a stock pond.  Life  isn't fair.  I never saw another 
animal but had a great camping  trip!!
 
I'll talk to ya more next meeting.
