[COHO] wood

I was really looking forward to going, but like Bill said, you gotta pay the bills. What really sucks is that I'm salary, so I don't *technically* even get paid for it...but required to be there just the same...I'll definately negotiate hourly rates for my next job. :(

As for the wood, it's first come first served. Weekends are the best time to come get it, as I don't usually get home until about 6:00pm durring the week. In addition to the juniper rounds I also have a pretty nice pile of short, clean 2x4's and 2x6's (most are less than 3 feet long. They stack really well, and would make great campfire wood.

See you at Deschutes tomorrow!

Sorry to hear you won't be joining us at Hop Madness. If you have wood to give away, we'd love some. We'll be out of town until the 14th. Just let me know when would be a good time after that to come by.

I just found out that I got volunteered to work durring the Hop Madness weekend... :o@ I'm not happy.

...For those of you going however, I have a bunch of juniper rounds at my place from building the house that I'd LOVE for someone to come pick up. I'm sure it would make great, long-burning firewood. If anyone else wants it for burning this winter, that would be fine too, just let me know. We don't have a fireplace or wood stove yet, and I want to get rid of it. It's free if you haul. I might even throw in a homebrew. ;)

...Oh yea, I've got a bunch of rock that I need to get rid of too...just in case any of you don't already have enough. ;)

I could do a Deschutes meeting this thursday, but it would have to be earlier, like around 5:30 or so. Looking forward to the Bend Brewfest. I've never been, but I'd love to help!

This kicks butt. COHO is racking up an impressive win record already. WHat I would like to do is get information on every win or place, who did it, what the recipe was, etc... then get it on a Hall of Fame page on the website. It's time to start bragging.

I didn't get back into town until about 4pm on Sunday, so I dropped by Tom's after all the fun had happened. I tried some of Dylan's Pinapple mead (yummy) and played a game of horseshoes. I don't know if any pics were taken, but a summary of events would be cool. I know they made a blackberry mead.

Count me in. I plan to go to Hop Madness and drag my dad along. If we are going to brew there, we should maybe coordinate supplies and stuff. Also, maybe food and other(?) I can bring my little portable grill and firewood and water... Not sure what the situation is there, so maybe that's overkill.
