I thought someone might get a kick out of this.

The card is a really a Broadcom BCM94318MPG with a BCM4318 chipset. The
HP/Compaq drivers for my laptop are all generic Broadcom drivers and would
fail to load or cause kernel problems when loading. The Dell TrueMobile 1300
uses the same chipset as mine and worked great the first time trying them.
