Hey Guys

Its been a while since there was any activity here. Whats everyone been up
to?

I will start with me... believe it or not after the last group meeting, I
was listening to Tim and Paul about ruby and I decided to give it a try....

wow what the hell too me so long, I cant believe what I was missing...

and then I started messing with rails... I fell in love. I haven't had this
much passion for something in a while(besides jeran ;) ). I have nothing up
public but my box at home probably has 12 rails apps on it.

A few other things are going on... I finally got a great Job here in Bend.
I'm on the development team at a great company that produces software for
local and state level government agencies. I'm getting married next June
23rd. w00t. Lately I've been questioning my reasons for deciding to use
Linux and I've been finding myself switching between windows and Linux on my
laptop quite often recently. I feel like I've lost my passion for Linux, and
open source in general, I just cant find the spark I had once and I don't
know how to get it back. I've been thinking about buying a mac mini &
textmate to see if I enjoy that for rails development, but I'm not sure
about that either.

What do you guys do to keep you passion? What have you done lately that was
exciting?
