The author of teTeX has decided to no longer maintain teTeX.  I discovered this at http://www.tug.org/tetex/

He suggests people look into the TeX Live project.  TeX Live is ussually distributed as a CD to members of various TeX user groups such as TUG.  It's a pretty slow download, so I have put a copy up on the ftp server.  Enjoy!  As far as I can tell, you may need the TeX Live stuff to use Omega.  The CD is the 2005 distribution.  The 2006 ditribution appears to be listed as testing still.

Anybody else even using TeX/LaTeX stuff?  LyX?
