[Bendug] Future BENDUG Member

Good evening BENDUGers... Currently, I'm an active member with 
GSLUG.org in Seattle, but my wife and I are looking to move to Bend in 
summer '06.  I was wondering how active BENDUG is... do you meet 
regularly or is the group mainly web-centric?

I plan to follow the group online until the big move, but let me know 
if I can be of any assistance (some of my skills and past projects are 
listed on my personal site below).

Also, any insight on the job market in Bend would be greatly 
appreciated.  My job allows me to telecommute, but for future reference 
I'd be interested to know which companies use open source (or typically 
hire web developers, db/sys admins).

More importantly, my wife will need to find a new job... she is 
currently an HR Manager and is open to marketing/pr, however she'll 
probably need to find companies with a fair amount of employees.

Are any of you going to make it up here to Linux Northwest?
