[Bendug] editing large wav files

Anyone have a recommendation for editing realy large
wav files(files>1GB)? I want to break it up into about
30 evenly sized pieces, and put 15 pieces each on
audio cds. 

Yes I googled for it, but nothing really jumped out at
me.
