500 OOPS: could not bind listening IPv4 socket

Can anyone help me with this error? I get in when I
try to start vsftpd. It worked a couple of days ago.
Since then I've been messing with my ppp and LAN
stuff. I can use the LAN now--and ppp. Ping, smb, ssh,
etc..work fine, just not vsftpd.
